RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for Demining Operations in Somalia. The PM is responsible for the contractor's HR, logistics, admin and finance, procurement and an oversight of the operational coordination and service delivery ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Quality assurance
Constantly monitor and report on progress to the Project Manager
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Conduct necessary training and practical exercises, as needed in the absence of the lead Operations Officer/Trainer.
Education, Skills and Experience:
Certificate of EOD Level 3 qualification is required
Minimum of 5 years documented project management experience (required)
Minimum of 3 years experience managing humanitarian mine action involving TS/NTS, mine clearance, EOD activities and explosive ordnance risk education is required (required)
Minimum of 3 years experience in remote and austere work environments to include: areas of threat, harsh terrain, and extreme environmental factors.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communications skills.
Strong analytical thinking skills
Ability to complete and prioritize multiple tasks of equal importance.
Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills
Fluent in English, written and spoken (required).
Must be able to pass vetting process
