PAE is seeking a Digital Forensic Trainer to support customers in Iraq
This position is located OCONUS
Position Description:
PAE is responsible for the deployment of a mobile forensic laboratory and subsequent training of local nationals in the areas of laboratory management, evidence handling, CELLEX/MEDEX exploitation and latent print processing and examination.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Digital Forensic Trainer will be responsible for establishing and delivering a Program of Instruction to train Iraqi forces in the use of CELLEX/MEDEX exploitation platforms as required by the customer.
Establishing Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) as needed to fit the customer’s process and desires.
Establishing procedures and conduct training in the proper chain of custody and evidence handling.
Work with the customer and provide forensic advice as needed to establish appropriate reporting procedures.
Attend meetings with other stakeholders as required.
Maintain current inventory lists for laboratory, ordering, and other logistical requirements as needed.
Inventory management, record keeping, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 years of experience, or 7 years of experience with no degree
Experience in digital forensic examination
Experience conducting training in the area of digital forensics.
Experience in receiving and documenting evidence, maintenance of evidentiary integrity and chain of custody; preparation of examination requests as well as preparing, transmitting, and receiving evidence packages.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to successfully pass all medical requirements for deployment.
Must have a current a DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience with SharePoint is desired.
