Summary
The Executive Protection Agent ensures the safety and security of the client. The role effectively manages environmental dynamics that pose challenging situations for the client(s). The position is responsible for establishing a working knowledge of advance planning strategies and the related action plan.
Essential Functions
Be responsible for safeguarding the client(s), and client(s) assets
Incorporate the client(s) core values and code of conduct in all decisions and actions
Be responsible for making real-time operational decisions that enhance safety for the client(s) and immediate family members when needed
Monitor intrusion detection systems, panic alarms, and camera systems
Demonstrate effective communication with the client(s) and the client’s family and associates, members of the security team, property staff, and the 24/7 G-SOC
Maintain professional working relationship with local law enforcement
Be accountable for their actions, communication, and customer service decisions
Collaborate to develop and follow best practice protocols and Command Post SOP (if applicable)
Promote and establish effective working relationships with the client(s), and the Security Manager to quickly resolve operational issues without affecting the client(s) quality of life
Conducting ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments as needed
Maintain and manage all security logs, radio logs, visitor information, residence audits, vehicle inspections, and security phone communication, (receive, document, and communicate all deliveries)
Establishing professional working relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors and private contractors assigned to work at the residence or directly involve with the client(s)
Maintain client(s) security vehicles as required
Maintain all protective service perishable skills such as firearms, medical, and driving, through sustainment training
Be responsible for providing transportation for the client(s) when requested

Security and risk mitigation expertise
Industry and client service acume
Have a current understanding of all local and state use of force laws
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Fluently read, speak, and write the English language
Understands basic operations and technical troubleshooting for a wide variety of devices (e.g., laptop computers, access control systems, record-keeping software)
Ability to work independently while establishing relationships with colleagues and clients
Demonstrated history of maintaining strict confidentiality
Must be able to quickly adapt to changes during critical incidents and problem-solve with available resources
Effective conflict resolution skills, and expected to display high levels of emotional intelligence, and professional appearance in every contact

Work Environment
This position is part of a Mobile/ Flex team with a Residence Focus. Exposure to several natural elements may include heat, cold, rain, snow, and high winds.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift objects up to 100 pounds and stand and sit for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is a contract position. Evening, overnight, and weekend hours will be required. Local agents are preferred.
Education and Experience
3+ years in an Executive Protection role, or
Government, Military, Law Enforcement experience
High School diploma and Associate degree accepted; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
Training or experience in Executive Protection or Residential Security
Graduate of an Executive Protection Course preferred
Graduate of a Security Driving Course preferred
Current CPR/AED/FIRSO Aid certification preferred
Current California BSIS Guard Card
Current California BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit preferred
Valid US Passport required
Valid State driver license
*Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
