Assist Camp Commandant - Clearance Needed / OCONUS
Description:
Oversee essential base camp services to include facility operations and maintenance, logistics support, force protection, MWR support, billeting, logistics operations, emergency services, water supply and waste disposal services, minor construction, food services, vehicle maintenance, and environmental strategies. Provide base camp support through the acquisition and management of specific base support contracts.
Manages maintenance of company and customer facilities, real property and equipment at a level commensurable with design criteria and projected facility use. Monitors energy management operations, building and grounds management, and construction and rearrangement program requirements from project initiation to construction completion to ensure job and cost performance adhere to design and build requirements. Manages allocation of department resources to insure priority projects are implemented in a timely manner. Assures prompt resolution of scheduling, equipment and maintenance problems, and proper implementation of policies and procedures. Provides oversight of budget administration, planning and scheduling activities, and workflow analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to work well with public as well as with co-workers. Has good computer skills and willing to work long hours to include weekend. Has initiative and a self-starter. Works independently with no or minimum guidance. Has deployed within the last three years. Requires better than average written and verbal communication skills.
WILLINGNESS TO WORK ROTATIONAL SHIFTS INCLUDING DAYS, EVENINGS, MIDNIGHTS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AS REQUIRED. MUST WORK IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES HOT AND COLD, INDOOR/OUTDOOR.MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS.
