Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Security Director to join our team in Chiswick, West London. This is an exciting opportunity to join the world’s leading medical and travel security assistance company, working as part of an established team to drive profitable revenue growth and the effective coordination and delivery of security consulting and training tasks globally for the Aviation & Maritime Business Line.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Drive revenue growth globally through strong collaboration with A&M and Intl SOS sales and marketing teams.
Lead the A&M sales support function globally. Coordinate with a global cohort of security subject matter experts focused on providing technical support to sales. Working with Regional Security Directors, help support the wider security professional agenda as it relates to the A&M Business Line.
Coach and develop regional security managers and specialists for A&M requirements.
Develop and execute a detailed sales support plan in line with A&M business objectives. Working with Intl SOS, identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Manage the A&M security sales administration functions in partnership with A&M sales teams, including sales support performance reporting, consulting and training delivery reporting and monthly financial reporting.

Customer Satisfaction
Lead subject matter expert for all A&M clients globally. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of A&M and security solutions according to customer needs/requirements in close collaboration with BDMs/AMs.

Consulting and Training
Drive the sale of security consulting and training across regions.
Deliver training and consulting tasks, when appropriate, across regions and/or in coordination with wider global security resources as required and where expertise permits.
Develop and maintain a pool of external consultants to support delivery of training and consulting tasks, always prioritizing the utilization of internal personnel where possible.

Operations and Information
Participate in 24/7 on-call operations coverage and crisis support as required.
Maintain awareness of global and regional aviation and maritime security developments.
Contribute to the development of A&M concept of operations and capability statements as required.
Proactively build security contacts in regions and contribute to the development and quality of the respective region’s information, advice and assistance capability (including provider network).

Qualifications


Required Experience & Skills
Management of small and/or dispersed teams.
International aviation and/or maritime industry work (security) experience.
Extensive experience internationally and/or regionally EMEA, APAC, etc.
Experience in security operations management: in military, government, or private sector roles.
Experience in the planning, development and delivery of training and/or security consulting.
Preferably business development and/or consulting experience.
People management and relationship skills.
Strong influencing skills.
Effective communication and representational skills (media training).
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Use of technology for data reporting and online/virtual delivery of services.

Additional Information
Travel Requirements: Travel dependent on business needs, 50% or more possible.
