Our Global Security organization is comprised of multiple teams that work together to support our operations around the globe. Our mission is to keep the things that we value safe and secure while protecting the people, assets, and reputation of Facebook. We protect the people of Facebook by creating a safe and secure environment for our culture to flourish. From buildings and servers, to prototypes and ideas, we ensure Facebook’s physical and intellectual assets are safe and secure and make informed decisions to protect Facebook’s reputation. Facebook is seeking an experienced Manager to work full-time on a dynamic Executive Protection team. The role is broad and involves strong operational, strategic, and interpersonal skills. The Protective Service Manager will interface with employees and support staff across multiple teams within and outside of Facebook. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Executive Protection, Residential Security and Operation/Logistical planning, that will allow them to think independently, make constructive recommendations for program improvements, and problem solve quickly.The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who excels at working with diverse teams and has a passion for security, problem-solving and team building. The candidate will work as part of the Global Security Executive Protection team and be supporting the management, on all aspects of from operations and planning, advance work, training and overall support of security program. We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual that is diligent, detail-oriented, proactive and works both independently and in a team setting. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with internal and external cross-functional partners.

Develop and lead a world class Protective Service Program
Manage Global Security Standards, policies, procedures, best practices and training to continually elevate the protection strategies
Implement organizational policies and procedures to mitigate risk
Build strong cross-functional partnership across Global Security team and Facebook by communicating team goals, wins and opportunities to maximize safe and security work environments
Champions new ideas
Ability to travel approximately 50%

10+ years of working knowledge and experience in Executive Protection or related field from Government, Family Offices and Corporate Security
Experience with security technologies including Video Surveillance, Access Control, Incident Management Systems and Security Operations Center
Experience in organizing domestic and international trips for individuals
Experience communicating, presenting, and fielding questions from Executives and their staff
Experience organizing and prioritizing multiple on-going projects
Proven customer service and communication skills
Experience in change management and scaling organizations
Experience in Vendor Management and negotiations
Possesses knowledge in the areas of emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident management, risk management and business resiliency
Experience drafting clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats

Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred
Experience working with high net individuals
Experience in corporate environment
