Reporting directly to the Country Department, the mission of this position is to ensure that the security strategy in the country is developed, implemented, monitored and updated; and this in accordance with the Oxfam security policy, other general policies and minimum security standard procedures.
WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Constant analysis of the context and developments related to security.
Develop and maintain an incident reporting system
Maintain close contact with useful sources in order to develop a network and be able to obtain reliable information for optimum management of operations
Security management and security management tools including identification of a security strategy (including a detailed acceptance strategy) and security management plans that allow regular updating of security rules .
Assist the Country Department as well as the management staff to better manage incidents.
In conjunction with the program team, develop an access strategy in our areas of operations.
Ensure that the support departments (HR, logistics, finance and administration) have procedures in place that guarantee optimum security management
Ensure staff have the necessary safety skills to be operational. To do this, provide appropriate training or refer to available training modules

Start: 08/01/2020
Duration of 12 months with possibility of renewal
Gross annual salary: € 33,733 + Hardwork allowance + Bonus per child
Location: Bangui, Central African Republic with trips to the bases
Accommodation in guest house, perdiem, days off, R&R and insurance
Unaccompanied post.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
University studies at BAC + 5 level in logistics or security.
Currently valid Hostile Environment Awareness Training.
Experience working in a volatile security and political environment.
Proven negotiating skills in complex and tense situations. (Certification is a plus)
Proven competence in crisis management (Certification is a plus)
Proven competence in staff training in a multicultural environment
Strong experience in interpersonal communication in a multicultural environment.
Person of integrity with strong personal values, aligned with our mission and in particular committed to gender equality and women's rights.
Fluency in written and spoken French;
