We are looking for qualified candidates for a Security Manager, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and monitor and access safety and security systems to ensure compliance with ICAA regulations.
Hiring and training screeners to staff checkpoints and designing training programs to teach airline screeners and inspectors. These screeners must comply with ICAA regulations and the security policies of the company.
Security managers must prepare reports that detail security issues and incidents. may also make recommendations for additional security staff or equipment to management personnel.
Evaluate options, benefits and disadvantages of outsourcing security activities
Prepare budgetary estimates for financing AVSEC programs
Analyze an airport emergency plan and develop security response actions necessary in security emergencies involving aircraft, terminal buildings and airport facilities
Implement a training program for airport security and non-security staff
Develop procedures and mechanisms for reporting and recording security incidents
Set up and run an airport security committee
Implement a risk and vulnerability assessment and review processes to prioritize and manage risks
Minimum Skills and Experience:
Must have leadership skills to direct the activities of security personnel.
May require a minimum of an associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or business management for a position in security management.
Thorough understanding of Security management processes, theories and methodologies.
Very strong administrative skills including intermediate level MS Word, Visio, Excel & Outlook.
Experience in CURA Risk Management Database administration (preferred ).
