Registered Nurse - Australian Embassy, Baghdad Iraq

Rotation 
6 weeks on and 6 off however candidates need to be flexible and will be driven by operational requirements.

Role Requirement:
Only FVEY National Candidates (AUS, NZ, USA, UK, CAN, US) will be considered for this role.

The RN must have:
At least five (5) years' experience operating in high risk environments,
including remote area and trauma training
Bachelor of nursing and remote area trauma training
A current registered nursing or higher registration (Australian or
international equivalent)
Sound problem solving skills and excellent communication skills written and verbal.

Desirable skills also include:
Previous experience working in a diplomatic environment
Previous in-country experience in a similar capacity
Working knowledge of Arabic (Iraqi dialect) 


Services
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of ops support to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of Australian Embassy, Baghdad. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include: 

Providing medical treatment
Maintaining “Medical – in – Confidence” medical records
Providing quality control within the medical facility and managing a pharmaceuticals and equipment inventory and stock record.
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines 

Visa Requirements 
The Company shall be responsible and liable for the multi-entry visa cost as required in order to deliver the Services. Any visa costs incurred by the Contractor shall be reimbursed.

Travel Details
Contractors are not entitled to pay while travelling. The first day of pay is the day of arrival in the country of operations. The last day of pay is the day of departure from the country of operations.
