JOB INTRODUCTION:
Generic provision of protection for individuals and groups with Afghanistan carrying out civil infrastructure work.
Need to have familiarity with at least one Eastern European language
Long rotation to fit in with client requirements
Fitness and ability to work under pressure
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Protection of client personnel
Working in small teams, possible vehicle convoys depending on location
First response medical emergency cover, Intimate support for client and close protection team.
Exercising professional judgement and personal initiative to make informed decision in relation to operational requirements
Total familiarity with standards applied to the Operation of Close Protection personnel within high risk environments
Deputising for Team Leader during periods of absence
Responsible, in conjunction with Team Leader, for management of personnel, equipment and vehicles
Use of communication systems (possibly gained through PSD experience in a high risk environment).
Interaction with local nationals, demonstrating diplomacy with effectiveness in maintaining security.
Ensure that high standards of behaviour are maintained individually as well as within each team
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Formal Qualification in Close Protection
Formal qualification in first aid
Working knowledge of at least 1 Eastern European language
Working knowledge and ability to communicate in English
High risk environment experience (preferably the Middle East)
