POSITION SUMMARY:
Serves as the Tactical Exercise Support (TES) Supervisor for the Training Support Center (TSC) located on Camp Buehring.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Serves as the senior leader of the Training Support Center at Camp Buehring. Because the TSC Manager is primarily located at Camp Arifjan the TES supervisor acts on behalf of the TSC Manager at Camp Buehring and is considered the “Deputy” to the TSC Manager.
Directs a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the discipline.
Interviews, selects and places candidates into open positions.
Evaluates staff, comparing objectives and achievements in the assessment.
Coaches employees in their professional career development and process improvements.
Issues discipline whenever required.
Recommends termination or contract non-renewal when appropriate.
Plans, develops, and implements internal policies and procedures to govern daily operation of TSC Tactical Exercise Support (TES) Section.
Coordinates training support-related issues and maintains positive communications with customer units and contractor personnel.
Provides timely installation support of MILES 2000, I-MILES, Tactical Exercise Simulations (TES), Training Aids & Devices Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) equipment, and training device fabrication.
Ensures the completion of all job orders submitted by customers.
Responds to Government request to reprioritize or cease work orders in progress.
Briefs US Government on equipment upgrades, and provides recommendation.
Responsible for the submission of recurring reports and CDRLs.
Maintains positive control and accountability Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and contractor owned property assigned to TSC Tactical Exercise Support (TES) section.
Monitors the maintenance and serviceability operations for all equipment and supplies.
Supervises and monitors monthly inventory of TSC Tactical Exercise Support (TES) Section property.
Ensures compliance with all ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems policies and procedures.
Establishes and monitor key control procedures IAW Army regulation.
Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Indoor and/or outdoor environment.
Standard work week will be six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day. May work 12-hour shifts as required.
May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must have professional appearance consistent with US military customs.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications:
BA/BS and 8-10 years related experience including 4 years of management is equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Must meet USCENTCOM physical / medical requirements.
Must deploy to USCENTCOM training locations with austere living conditions.
Experience:
Must have demonstrated supervisory skills, including a professional demeanor.
Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management.
Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Must have high-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.
Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
Must be able to gain access to and have a working knowledgeable of the Training Support Material Army-Wide Tracking System (TS-MATS I). Skills:

Knowledgeable in logistics procedures.
Knowledgeable of Multiple Integrated Laser Engagements Systems (MILES I, MILES II, MILES 2000) and Tactical Engagement Simulations (TES) equipment.
Knowledgeable of US Army ground combat weapons simulations systems, (TWGSS, PGS, LMTS, VIGS, etc.).
Knowledgeable of range support operations.
Knowledgeable of military maintenance procedures.
Clearance/License:
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Must have a valid US Driver License, able to obtain a US Government Motor Vehicle Operator License and Kuwait Driver License.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to maintain USG network access.
