Our client, an international Oil & Gas Operator are looking for an English and Portuguese speaking Security Coordinator to be based on-site in Palma, Mozambique. The role is offered with a 28 Day on / 28 days off rotation, long term contract, and 12-month renewable contract.
Job Overview
As Security Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of security operating processes on the Project
Responsibilities
Mentoring personnel so that they are fully implementing VPSHR guidelines while at the same time they keep a high operational level to protect Project's operations
Ensuring the Memorandum of Understanding on Security of Petroleum Operations (MoU) is implemented
Being responsible for MoU administration in staging areas with the Joint Taskforce.
Ensuring the Project/Staging areas and camps are suitably secured.
Monitor the care and support of troops inside the Staging areas in accordance with the framework of the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU)
Reporting on security situations and the threat escalations where and when necessary.
Experience
Ideally, have experience gained working within Security in remote locations
Preferably have a military or Police background (Senior NCO)
Have experience working with Military and Police personnel
Fluent in English and Portuguese as a spoken Language
