What You’ll Get to Do:
As the AFRICOM Mission Enabling Task Senior Staff Advisor, you will provide expert advice and leadership supporting, enabling, and managing all taskers, requirements, and injects from AFRICOM senior leaders, Staff, and J-Directorates to ensure senior level approvals and directives are being met and administered by AFRICOM staff.. As the Senior Staff Advisor you will provide expert advice and command level support to assist the geographic combatant command in meeting its strategic and campaign objectives.
More About this Role:
As the AFRICOM Mission Enabling Task Senior Staff Advisor, you will provide Subject Matter Expertise to the Task and its subtasks.
This role enhances Command decision making and information collaboration. You will leverage Knowledge Management, Command events, Language Capabilities and internal and external communications platforms to interact with partners, both on and off the continent, to advance mutually beneficial plans, initiatives, and programs between the U.S. and key partners.
You will coordinate with AFRICOM component commands and other strategic and operational partners to collaborate and communicate ensuring Command information and guidance is linked. These activities will strengthen partner networks, enhance partner capability, address security and stability in key countries and regions, and set the theater for AFRICOM initiatives across the command.
You will improve and expand relationships to solidify the Command position as the preferred regional security partner in Africa.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience Fostering Command information sharing and collaboration
5 years of military or government-related experience at the COCOM level
Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
