Job description:
The Executive Protection Response Team agent is tasked with numerous functions providing overall support to an existing Protective Operations Program in San Francisco, CA & the Bay Area. This detail operates in a dynamic, multifaceted, and very fast paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform executive protection and emergency response functions as necessary to ensure the protection of the clients
Supplement other Protective Operations Programs as directed by management
Provide safe transportation and protective services for the clients
Identify and respond to emergency situations
Perform protective advances and route planning
Successfully work in coordination with other teams
Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance of all equipment used in support of the Protective Operations Program (i.e. vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.)
Maintain a high level of physical fitness and emotional maturity
Possible travel based on operational needs.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
Extensive experience driving VIPs/executives/dignitaries, etc.
A combination of 10+ years of relevant security and/or military/law enforcement experience.
Must be willing to work a minimum of thirteen (13) 12-hour shifts (days and/or nights) per month
Must maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion
Must be able to work both independently and in a coordinated team environment
Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps
Must have BSIS guard card
Μust have a valid driver's license and clean DMV driving record
Must maintain a current CPR/AED/First Aid cert.
Must be clean cut and physically fit
Excellent communicator with the ability to professionally and successfully converse with clients, superiors, peers, and others
Drug and nicotine-free; must pass a drug screening and submit to periodic screenings throughout employment
The right candidate must pass an extensive background check and an in-house training assessment. Specific training will be provided upon hire
Desired:
College graduate
Proficient in the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligence
Prior ERT/SWAT/SOF and Executive Protection experience
Training in defensive driving, defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, and covert protection experience
Prior attendance of a recognized EP school (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
Active First Responder, Paramedic, or EMT certifications
HR218 or California CCW permit
Salary and Benefits:
$45-$51 per hour depending on experience
12 hour shifts, guaranteeing 4 hours of overtime per shift
After 70 days, employee will be eligible for premier medical/dental/vision, $500,000 life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending and dependent care accounts, and paid time off
Additionally, will be eligible for 401k with a 6% match after 1-year consecutive employment
