General Description
Plan, lead, manage, and directs the Asset Protection Department’s security operations to include the Facility Security operations and the Facility Security Officers (FSOs); the Regional Security operations and the Regional Security Officers (RSOs); and the Executive Protection to designated VIPs. Plans, directs, and manages the physical security inspections; vulnerability assessments; security training, and executive protection operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes and defines strategic objectives of the department.
Establishes cost-efficient and customer service initiatives.
Responsible for budget (determining, distributing, and managing budget).
Supervises and manages the protection of executives, employees, and other VIPs designated by the Board of Directors or as circumstances dictate.
Supervises and manages a Physical Security Inspection Program for the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of supporting security technology systems for buildings, branches, and facilities. In addition, evaluates and recommends to the Bank which security technology systems it should acquire.
Plans, prepares, and manages any required to train employees in new security procedures as required.
Supervises the proper use of contract security guard force employed by the Bank and coordinates the contract guard services with the designated providers.
Prepares, submits, and maintains reports to management and law enforcement agencies as required on all crimes committed against the Bank.
Advises and assists all business units on security and loss prevention issues.
Plans and supervises an effective security program which integrates security personnel and security systems.
Supervises the conduct of physical security inspections of all buildings and facilities to identify and correct deficiencies.
Coordinates and supervises the implementation of emergency procedures for all buildings and facilities.
Supervises that maintenance of a safe and secure working environment for all employees.
Supervises the pedestrian and vehicular access control in buildings and facilities.
Supervises the management of the contract security guard program in buildings and facilities.
Supervises and assists in the planning, design, and implementation of physical security programs for new buildings and facilities.
Supervises and assists in the conduct of vulnerability assessments.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
Experience
At minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience in physical security, fraud investigations, and executive protection operations.
Certifications/ Licenses
Must have professional certifications such as CPP, CFE, CST, PPS, and or IBA.
