SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a proposal located in Juba, South Sudan.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Responsible for all procurement, customs and shipping, storing and controlling of property and supplies
Provides clerical, administrative and logistical support for contract operations
Maintains and updates manual and computerized inventory records
Procures supplies and materials from local vendors
Monitors control of equipment and administrative supplies
Receives and stores supplies and equipment in designated warehouse
Issues and delivers supplies and equipment to maintain established inventory levels.
Qualifications
Associate-level degree or diploma in a logistics related field
Minimum of three (3) years logistics experience including international procurement and shipping
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
One (1) year of relevant experience in warehousing, administrative and procurement activities is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of local vendors
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
Fluent in written and spoken English
Valid drivers license
Working Conditions
Living and working conditions are in established facilities in an urban environment
May include long hours, exposure to weather and potentially hazardous conditions
Personnel should be aware of potential requirement to move on short notice and under adverse conditions.
