Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts in diverse teams;
Willingness to travel at short notice, often in difficult circumstances;
Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Oxfam:
Committed to humanitarian principles and emergency response work;
Excellent written and spoken English. A good working capacity in written and spoken French is highly desirable.

We offer
Contract Type:          12 months (extendable)
Hours:                       36 hours per week

This is a full-time role. However, Oxfam offers various flexible arrangements, which candidates can discuss with the Recruiting Manager at interview stage.

Oxfam offers fair pay and a competitive benefits package, including up to 43 days holiday/TOIL per year, pension and medical cover, living and accommodation costs covered during deployments.

Location: Global, with deployments worldwide from your home country. You must be prepared to travel at short notice to emergency response countries (deployments are normally 3-6 months). This post assumes extensive travel up to eight months of the year.

Interviews: Interviews to take place in mid-February 2020

This role will give you the opportunity - as part of the broader Global Security Team - to make a difference, supporting Oxfam’s humanitarian work together with a group of passionate and committed professionals, contributing to supporting and improving on security management standards where it matters.
