Overview
Our client based in Francophone Africa, are sourcing a Group Security Manager to lead a large team of employees and contractors, providing security solutions across the site.
The Company:
Globe 24-7 in partnership with our mining client in Francophone Africa, is working together to source experienced and qualified individuals to build capacity within the national workforce.
The Role:
The Group Security Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of security policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safety first and adhere to the organizations Health, Safety, Environmental regulations.
Create / develop and implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
Implement organizational process or policy changes.
Implementing security protocols, creating emergency response procedures and conducting security evaluations.
Develop, conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of facility and personnel security processes.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor or Higher Degree in Security at University Level is essential.
15 years' previous experience in a Senior Manager role.
Able to operate in austere and remote environments.
Supervising security staff members and providing training to the teams.
Fully Bilingual English/French.
