Responding to the proliferation of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in many of the regions in which DCA is active, DCA is seeking to expand the pool of Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) and Counter IED (C-IED) Search qualified personnel to fill positions worldwide. Positions for IED and C-IED Search specialists and advisors will be staffed in the first instance from pre-approved candidates from this pool.
DCA strongly encourages applications from candidates qualified to the following standards (IMAS and UN IEDDS), awarded by civilian or state (military or law enforcement) training organisations:
IMAS Level 3 + IEDD (Advanced)
IMAS Level 3 + IEDD (Intermediate)
IMAS Level 2/3 + IEDD (Basic)
DCA also strongly encourages applications for Counter IED Search (intermediate or advanced) qualified personnel.
