JOB INTRODUCTION:

MUST HAVE BRITISH PASSPORT
The successful candidates will be expected to instruct military students in the Middle East. The candidates will be working with a high quality Specialist Training Team to deliver Sniper based courses. The Instructor will be required to work a six day working week on a set rotational in/out country schedule
Candidates will be responsible for the delivery of practical training and theory instruction in accordance with Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality Standards (DSAT QS). Candidates will also be expected to prepare training material used in the delivery of training and assist with internal evaluation and production of course documentation within the specialist areas of responsibility.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Security Clearance
Candidates applying for this post must hold or have no restrictions to attaining UK security clearance
Experience
Former Junior/Senior Non Commissioned Officer
Minimum of two years’ experience in a training establishment
UK Sniper Instructor
Candidates applying for this post must have a Level 3 Certificate in Education / or intent to obtain qualification
Competencies
UK Military Skill at Arms qualification
Design and conduct live fire application of fire and exercise – level 5
Master Sniper (desired)
Assessment and Evaluation
Coach and Mentor Students post training delivery
Proven IT skills in all Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point)
Defence Systems Approach to Training – Quality Standard
Collaborating and partnering
Delivering at pace in a dynamic training environment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Strong interpersonal skills
Middle East cultural understanding with ability to communicate tactfully
Ability to influence the actions and opinions of others, to steer them in the desired direction, to show good judgment in order to encourage students to attain training objectives
