Field Security Supervisor will be responsible for the security oversight and management of respective field(s).
In addition, will implement and manage the comprehensive asset protection program for Oman field sites.
Also, will ensure the appropriate provision of security measures and procedures to ensure the well-being of all field employees, visitors, and contractors working within field concessions.
Furthermore, will protect all Company physical assets against theft, loss, or improper conversion.
This role requires the candidate to conduct regular liaison with local Military, ROP and government agencies.
The Field Security Supervisor responsibilities includes but not limited to:
Responsible for the implementation of security strategy in the field - working closely with the Asset Protection Manager, Field Security Advisor and Field Management to deliver appropriate field integrity through the implementation of physical and procedural measures.
To regularly update / advise field management and Field Security Advisor on matters pertaining to security.
Assist into Management and supervision of field security guard force in matters pertaining to security provision, crisis management and emergency response.
Implements and manages Oman's field security operation, embracing:
Implementation and management of personnel protection plan for all staff including National, expatriates and dependents, Company visitors and contractors working at field sites
Conducts periodic, security vulnerability assessments and audits for facilities in the field with or on behalf of Asset Protection Manager.
Implementation of physical, technical and procedural measures to counter threats to the Company's assets, in line with Oman's security implementation plan.
Oversight and quality assurance of contractor installation - where appropriate.
Establishes and maintains effective liaison with the local ROP and other associated Government forces assigned to provide general filed security
Ensures compliance with, and currency of, field contingency plan for the emergency evacuation of personnel
Designs or organizes security training in the form of presentations and/or publications for field security staff
Participates in field management meetings as requested, and any security-related conference calls visits as required.
Responsible for security events investigation and intelligence / evidence gathering. Liasing with local ROP and Muscat to deter and interdict offenders.
