Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Troop Medical Clinic Manager/Mentor for an anticipated position supporting a logistical effort in the country of Africa. The TMC Manager/Mentor shall provide management, assistance and mentorship to support the development of Danab medical personnel. The TMC is responsible for the establishment and sustainment of a basic Level 1 medical facility and Level 1 treatment program in support of the 600-man camp, as well as supporting Danab troops deployed to the field from the 600 man camp. The Danab Level 1 facility in Baledogle has the capacity to provide
treatment for up to 20 ambulatory patients per day, a holding capacity of 5 patients for up to 2 days, and will maintain medical supplies and consumables for 60 days.The appropriately qualified candidate should be able to perform the following job duties:
The Contractor shall plan on Danab providing at least four senior medical personnel for mentoring by the TMC Manager/Mentor.
The TMC Manager/Mentor will assist the Camp Manager.
The TMC Manager/Mentor will order, maintain and manage all medical supplies to support daily operations of the 600-man camp, as well as provide medical supplies to Danab medics. Contractor shall propose the composition of the Danab Field Medic Bag as well as plans to maintain a 30-day supply of required medical supplies at the Danab 600 man camp, and consumables for the Danab medical personnel supporting Danab operations in the field.
The TMC Manager/Mentor will manage the day-to-day camp medical support and will mentor the senior Danab medical personnel. Assist in developing their capability to assume responsibility for the day-to day medical support, managing, accounting, and inventorying all equipment, supplies, soldier medical records management and associated medical infrastructure in the 600 man camp, as well as supporting Danab medical personnel deployed to the field.
The TMC Manager/Mentor will assist with coordination between Danab/SNA medical personnel and other U.S. government-funded programs and instructors.
The TMC Manager/Mentor will work closely with the program managers of all USG-funded military assistance programs to include DoD in Somalia, as well as international partners to coordinate efforts.
The TMC Manager/Mentor shall ensure the Danab medical personnel perform health & well-being coordination throughout the Danab camps of both personnel and facilities.
The TMC Manager/Mentor shall ensure Danab medical representatives monitor the proper preparation and sustained temperature levels of food at the Danab camps.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and be capable and willing to submit and pass random fitness for duty screening particularly for drugs and alcohol.
Minimum Requirements:
Civilian and/or former military Physician’s Assistant (PA) and Combat Medical Training qualified.
Mentor shall, hold a current PA medical training certificate.
The candidate shall have at least 2 to 3 years of combat medical experience and combat medical training experience in civilian and/or military health programs.
Candidate should have strong analytical skills, possess technical management skills, supervision experience, and leadership experience, with emphasis in team building and mentoring with and for a diverse and multicultural staff.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience living and working in developing countries.
Due to nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
