Job description
The Site Security Managers is responsible for monitoring the security operations implementing the developed security policies, procedures, regulations, rules, and norms associated with his/her site. Liaise with external local Security agencies and forces maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Client’s employers, contactors, consultants and visitors alike. He/She will report directly to the Corporate Security Manager and the Site Operation Manager.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years site security management experience managing mobile and static security in the oil and gas industry, preferably Kurdistan; Must have a minimum of 4 years’ commercial experience working in hostile, hazardous and complex environments
Communication: Fluent in English (S/W/R) to Common European Framework (CEF) C1 level;
IT: Expert user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Operational skills: Must be SIA licensed or equivalent; proficient in the assigned weapon system
Organizational skills: The individual should be able to develop, organize and manage personnel, assets and administrative processes as required per the job description; should be able to liaise with the local authorities and communities on the ground; certified security management course preferred.
Leadership skills: The individual must show initiative where appropriate and possess excellent leadership skills and confidence
First aid skills: Trained to FPOS level
HSE skills: Basic skills in occupational health, safety and environment
Armed: Yes, in accordance to the KRG MOI regulations
Health: Must be physically fit and have no medical conditions
Nationality: EU or Russian expatriate
