Ideally based in New York City, this is a unique opportunity to lead on the personal security for this high net worth family. A constantly evolving role, you will ensure the safety and security of the family both at home in the US and during overseas travel. Responsibilities include providing advice on all risks and threats globally regarding personal protection and travel destinations. As the lead on Security your duties include:
Carrying out risk assessments
Emergency and contingency planning
Liaison with local and international networks and emergency services
Working closely with internal personal and external agencies
Assistance on all aspects of travel and logistics
Provide personal protection
Property security, both residential and business in various locations (Intruder, life safety, Access Control, CCTV). This will include vendor management, security reviews and making recommendations for improvement that are consistent with the needs of the family.
Provide a professional program of relevant training for family and staff.
Candidate profile:

Degree educated with experience of working for high net worth individuals.
You will need to have a solid background within security management, travel safety programs and ideally be a subject matter expert in executive protection and residential security.
You must be discreet and reliable, be extremely mobile and flexible.
State department background would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to access resources and security contacts in foreign countries.
