Job purpose
Operational delivery and commercial profitability of Middle East
Security Risk Consulting projects and direct management of sub-ordinate team
members (currently three)
Tasks and responsibilities
Undertaking fee earning consultancy, including but not limited to crisis management,
hostile environment training, project security planning, maritime consulting and event
security
Hold project budget accountability for SRC in support of the CSC Middle East P&L
Client liaison, not only on security related expertise but as a trusted advisor in order to develop client relationships across the full breadth of capabilities in order to proactively drive the rope strategy
Ensure requests from clients and prospects are dealt with effectively, acting as the central point of contact all enquiries
Creating proposals and building budgets to determine pricing levels prior to sign-off by designated managers
Provide accurate information on pipeline activity
Operational responsibility for and line-management of sub-ordinate team members across the region
Operational planning and management of tasks conducted in the Middle East in
accordance with the Security Risk Consulting (SRC) project life cycle
Maintain overall quality oversight of SRC operational and written work
Operations management and oversight of protective services engagements when
lead consultant is on task/leave
Conducting internal risk assessments for high risk work and deployments
Stewardship of all SRC and PS activity in the region to ensure compliance with policies, standards and methodologies
Maintenance of a pool of sub-contractors and coordination of associated engagements with appropriate contracts, insurance, personal and medical documents
Adopt innovative approaches to develop current and new solutions
Act as a thought leader on regional matters and coordinate with peer group in other
regions
Knowledge and experience
Proven ability operating successfully at a senior level, implementing policy, driving
quality and growing a business
Detailed understanding of organization capabilities
Proven experience of delivering security risk consultancy, including but not limited to
security risk assessments, incident management, evacuation planning, project and
organisational security planning, maritime consulting, training and event security.
Proven experience of people management
Qualifications and specialist skills
Exposure to, or delivery of, security risk consulting
Excellent report and proposal writing skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills with proven ability to participate in speaking
engagements
Project management skills preferably with PRINCE2 certification or equivalent
Ability to liaise with and build successful relationships with both clients and across the
internal business
Ability to quickly assimilate large quantities of new information
Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in risk management or security related field
