Job description:
This is an unique opportunity to work at this historic site. As security manager you will ensure the safety and security of the site, it's contents and all staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the security team ensuring that high professional security standards. Duties include:
Management of the operation of the Control Room 24/7.
Ensure best practice for cash handling, CCTV, lost property, surveillance, alarms, liaison with the police and emergency services and security response.
Draft and document all Security Risk Assessments and Method Statements for activity undertaken on site.
Investigate as necessary accidents and near misses and submit recommendations to the appropriate Manager to prevent re-occurrences.
Ensure all Security procedures I practices are delivered across the estate
Candidate profile:
* Applicants must have proven experience in leading and managing a team as well as security and operational management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this role as is a resilient and determined approach.
* Experience in a similar role with an excellent working knowledge/passion for security best practice, security equipment and systems, health and safety and fire knowledge is essential.
* Visitor attraction exposure/experience an advantage
