Job purpose and key deliverables
Essential requirements The position includes the following key deliverables: - Assist in the delivery of education and awareness programs to local law enforcement agencies, government departments and provincial authorities on a planned and regular schedule. Building intelligence networks through identifying key sources of information, the gathering of information from informal sources, and passing all information to the AIT Intelligence Unit for assessment. Developing close working relationships with local area law enforcement agencies that assists in driving enforcement actions against the importers, distributors and sellers of illicit tobacco products. Building effective relationships with identified AIT champions within their working area. Supporting the work of the local AIT Committee through attendance at meetings to represent BAT, and assisting with the request for and deployment of resources towards effective enforcement activities. Assist law enforcement agencies in executing enforcement actions against AIT targets. Assistance may include but is not limited to; raising of search warrants, gathering evidence, planning of raids, organising transport and accommodation, liaising with other stakeholder enforcement agencies and arranging secure storage for seized illicit materials through third-party providers.

The AIT Manager is responsible for supporting the operational execution of BATPNG's AIT strategy under guidance and instruction from an Head of AIT
