Job Purpose:
Under the general direction of the Senior Operations Manager, the incumbent performs responsibility for all the general services associated with all college / compound security duties and responsibilities to include protection of assets. Deter possible threats to persons and property.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor security policies, programs and procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
• Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Create reports for management on security status
• Assist the Senior Operations Manager in the control of budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
• Recruit, train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
• Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
• Analyse and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
• Order security-related supplies and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate security operations or activities with local law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
• Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
• Review financial reports to ensure efficiency and quality of security operations.
• Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
• Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
• Conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes.
• Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
• Collect and analyse security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.
• Supervise subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining.
• Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Education:
• High school diploma; Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset
Experience:
• Previous employment with a government entity, M.O.I, National Guard, Police.
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Committed and reliable
• Security Awareness
Competencies:
• Must have valid Saudi Driving license
• Languages: Fluent Arabic, Basic English
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge in CCTV operations
• Basic 1st Aid Training
