Responsible for roving security patrols on a security project. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.
Essential Functions
Performs internal roving guard services and must possess the ability to react to force protection threats
Perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified
Patrol premises to ensure that the site is properly secured
Job Requirements
Shall be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
Must qualify semiannually with all assigned weapons (including safety functions, capabilities, limitations, and maintenance) IAW US Department of the Army Standards
Must have four (4) years’ experience in Military Occupational Specialty or Armed Force Specialty Codes designated as combat arms, Military Police, Special Operations Forces, or Civilian Police and received an honorable discharge (all verified by military transcripts and evaluations)
Must be able to obtain an operator’s license on military tactical vehicles
Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Security Clearance
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older
Must be able to perform the following physical tasks:
(1) Drag, carry, lift, and/or pull a person to safety
(2) Use physical force to detain a subject or prevent unauthorized entry
(3) Prolonged standing and/or sustained patrol on foot or in a vehicle
(4) Sustained pursuit of suspect on foot
(5) Dodging, crawling, climbing, and/or rapid ascent of stairs
(6) Perform the above wearing duty equipment and/or personal protective equipment under adverse environmental conditions
Intermediate user level of computer systems, Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), database applications, and documentation control systems
Must possess valid passport and travel/work OCONUS
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements, to include an Annual Physical Ability Test
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
