As Response Security and Analysis Manager, you will lead development and support towards contextual and programmatic security for Syria Country Office-wide security of operational activities. You are instrumental in conflict crisis and security program development, continuity and enhancing security capacity in analyzing change in the context for continuous operational activities’ control. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple functions within the Response in support of key projects and will be responsible for conducting analysis that ensures end-to-end security capability and operational delivery to the field. You will play a key part in shaping and influencing areas of tactical risk and readiness while also providing the interface between the Office of Corporate Security – Analysis Unit and the wider humanitarian security management and analysis community.
Requirements include:
Relevant Bachelor degree in Security, Strategic, or International Studies, or related discipline
Relevant Master degree or other advanced degree in Security, Strategic, or International Studies, or related discipline. (preferred)
At least 7 years or work related experience in the professional security, research, analysis arena working at international level with international agencies, INGO’s, governments, military, law enforcement or private sector as security analyst, researcher or intelligence officer.
A least 3 years of experience in role providing direct operational planning and support to international agencies, INGO’s, governments, military, law enforcement or private sector as an security analyst or business continuity and resilience specialist.
Effective in written and verbal communication in Arabic would be an asset.
