Location: Seoul Key Role:
Serve as an instructor for operators and staff on Small Unmanned Aircraft System and develop and train Counter–Unmanned Aircraft System courses for US military personnel within the Republic of Korea. Provide classroom instruction, practical applications, and operation of UAS in a field environment and Combined Training Center rotations. Provide government site C–IED and Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) subject matter training expertise to develop multi–domain threat mitigation training and analysis. Integrate, plan, synchronize, coordinate, and facilitate all live, virtual, constructive, and gaming C-IED and C-UAS assets available for home station training. Provide counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) expertise and training to tactical level United States and foreign military units and provide C-IED classroom and field instruction on current techniques and equipment for operating in improvised explosive device (IED) environments. Conduct C-IED and asymmetric warfare (AW) education and training on attack the network (AtN), electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation, hand-held detectors, and route clearance and provide initial and sustainment instruction through training methods, including coaching, mentoring, dialogue facilitation, and platform instruction.
Basic Qualifications:
-7 years of experience with the military and operating and instructing on Unmanned Aircraft Systems
-Experience with current US DoD System of Record Unmanned Aircraft Systems
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Graduate of US Military Operators Course
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with US Army Decisive Action and Combined Arms Maneuver
-Experience with being deployed in a combat or combat advisor role
-Experience with coding and programming
-Experience with integrating live, virtual, constructive, and gaming warfighting training
-Flight Certification Part 107 preferred
