The Role

The Security Coordinator is responsible for the management of the safety and security needs of Oxfam Australia employees, as well as the development and completion of safety and security projects as required. This role will also be responsible for supporting the Pacific region, Sri Lanka and Timor Leste, and the confederation security development, as the Oxfam Confederation’s global security functions are currently under development.

Selection Criteria
Practical experience in a security or safety coordination role, preferably in an international setting or complex country context
Demonstrated ability to establish productive working relationships across diverse teams, cultures and geographic locations
Demonstrated experience in the coordination of emergency/high stress level security and safety procedures
Demonstrated experience development and implementation of capacity building or training programs
