The Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis, due to open Q4 2017, is looking for an ambitious and dynamic candidate to lead the Safety and Security department in the position of Safety and Security Manager.
The hotel is a 229 unit, apartment style property on one of Dubai's latest developments - Silicon Oasis.
Position Description:
You must be able to recruit and develop a strong guest service oriented team and deliver the highest standards safety and security.
Main responsibilities:
- Recruit, manage and motivate a team of safety and security staff.
- Train and develop new employees to Carlson Rezidor standards and expectations.
- Deliver the highest levels of security and guest satisfaction.
- Develop close contacts with key local community stake holders .i.e. Police department, other security organisations and fire department etc.
- Ensure all Carlson Rezidor brand standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international safety and security regulations.
- Ensure all safety and security related documentation i.e. training, incident reports, evacuation drills etc are effective and fully up to date at all times.
- Effective investigation and reporting related to any safety and security breaches including but not limited to theft, injury, assault, lost property, car accidents, vandalism etc.
- Maintain full log of key / lock issuing.
- Fully prepare effective crisis management procedures and training's.
- Anticipates possible and likely hazards and conditions and recommends corrective measures (both front and back of house).
- Give creative input as to how to consistently improve guest satisfaction and make "Every Moment Matter".
- Manage all guest requests and queries in a professional and timely manner.
Position Requirements and Offer Details
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of local safety and security legislation.
- Possess a guest oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Preferable to have experience in high quality hotel environment.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
-Strong management, administration skills and a positive "Yes I Can" attitude.
