Position Summary: The Protective Security Specialist Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced will provide medical support and assistance in the event of an incident while on mission supporting the client's mission. They will act as a Protective Security Specialist when necessary. They will also work closely with the Medical Officer and Physician Assistant to ensure that all equipment and medical needs are provided for.

Essential Functions:

Provide medical support to personnel in the field
Respond to emergency medical situations
Act as a Protective Security Specialist when necessary

Non-Essential Functions:

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of the customer/client

Job Requirements
Crucial Requirements and Abilities:

The contract requires you to be a U.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
Three (3) years of experience in which One (1) year, of the three, shall include experience in protective security assignments. Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Province, Local or commercial entities that provide high threat protective services
Have experience/knowledge in current Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines
Trained and certified to current U.S. standards recognized standards
Three (3) years' experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services
Contractor shall comply with the following EMT qualifications:
Successful completion of State or National Registry EMT-Advanced
Submission of current approved CPR credentials
Obtain and maintain weapons qualifications
Must successfully pass all required courses specified by the client

Ability to respond to an emergency efficiently and promptly
Proven ability to administer basic and advanced life support to patients at scene, in-route to the hospital, and in a pre-hospital setting

Physical Demands: The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.




Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
