Job Introduction:
This opportunity is for a potential BAC program in Iraq and the successful applicant would need to be able to confirm that he/she would be available in early 2017.
Role Responsibility:
Flexibly and independently deploy operational components in the area of operations.
Effectively liaise with local authorities and/or communities to gain acceptance of operations.
Identify and move explosive hazards (ie. UXO, IED, improvised landmines, booby traps, etc).
Share information regarding explosive threats with respective parties.
Conduct EOD-spot task as required
Conduct post-blast investigation as required
The Ideal Candidate:
BAC Team Leader requires the following experience:
EOD L3 Qualification delivered by an internationally recognized organisation
IEDD experience (desirable)
Training experience (essential)
Experience of Community Liaison with local authorities and population.
Experience of Non-Technical and Technical Survey in rural and urbanised areas.
Battle Area Clearance in rural and urbanised areas.
Experience of Intervention on ERW including render safe procedures.
Must be IT competent- MS office suite, Google Pro.
Conflict or post conflict environment experience.
Must be medically and physically fit for duty in austere environments.
Requires a light vehicle driving license.
