Background Screener Analyst - Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA)

Job Summary
AS Solution is currently seeking a new member with our Background Screening Team in the Reading area (UK). As a Background Screener, you will be part of a talented team, with responsibility to review information provided by our client’s employees situated across the EMEA region and background screening companies (vendors) to ensure compliance with our client’s screening policies. The successful Background Screener Analyst will have the ability to work well as a team member, be productive and proactive in an open, non-authoritative team environment. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, be able to demonstrate an excellent track record communicating diplomatically with employees regarding matters of personal information and handling this information in a confidential and trustworthy manner. Preferred language skills for this position will be French, Spanish, German, Italian, Nordic and Arabic.
The successful candidate will have intermediate skills working with MS office applications, excel, word processing capabilities and presentation applications. An ideal candidate will have Power BI and Data Analysis Skills. The candidate will be organized, able to show initiative, follow standard operating procedures, and be an excellent team-player and communicator (orally and in writing). Experience in employer continuous improvement programs as a leader or team player is desirable. Language skills are highly desirable for this position.
The Background Screener will review and evaluate background screening results provided by a third party supplier, the employee candidate and/or various other third party record providers. The position will maintain key relationships with Staffing in order to provide responsive and timely processing of background screenings.

Duties & Qualifications
Effective communication with universities and employers to follow up and verify information provided by candidate
Work with the third party screening supplier to identify discrepancies in information submitted by candidates
Archive and maintain copies of the final reports of background screenings
Assist in compliance auditing
Escalate issues with background screening records and program processes to the Regional Operations Manager for advice and direction
Handle and secure personal data according to regional/country requirements
Identify and raise process and programmatic ideas for refinement
Assist with regional process and program standardization initiatives
Develop and train new background screening staff on day to day screener processes
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of 30,000.00 British Pounds and other gazette benefits.
This position requires the ability to commute daily to Reading, England and the ability to work without sponsorship in the UK/EU.
