Position Summary:
To ensure and guard the safety of guests and employees by walking surveillance rounds and patrol all of the Hotel’s areas.
To respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional and hospitable manner.
To detect safety threatening situations and irregularities like unwanted visitors, mutilation or aggressive behavior.
To obtain all loss reports, investigate, follow up and determine course of action.
To monitor designated areas on the closed CCTV.
To handle guest complaints, comments, problems and requests in a professional and efficient manner, to document all complaints properly and to ensure that Security Supervisor/Manager is fully informed about complaints/issues relating to security operations.
To regularly liaise with the Security Supervisor/Manager to ensure that order is maintained in the hotel at all times, guests welfare issues are being dealt with quickly and smoothly and responses to emergency conditions such as fire or safety hazards and threat to life and/or property are coordinated and dealt in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
To interact and communicate with guest and colleagues in a courteous, friendly, open and honest manner at all times.
To ensure that ‘Fire Exit’ doors are kept free of blockage at all times and that fire and safety equipment’s are in their right places.
To perform all tasks consistently in line with Fraser Standards and to adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
To follow the security policy and procedures.
