The Position
A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Security Manager to join our Omega Security team. This management role is based at one the largest remote resources projects in WA, on a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO 2/1) basis from Perth, reporting directly to the Perth Head Office.
Key Duties
As an Omega Security Manager you will be required to implement and drive Company policies and procedures as well as directly manage the day to day operation of the Security team, consisting of over 50 employees, to ensure the delivery of high quality services to our client. Your passion for exceptional customer service, genuine commitment to safety and strong people management skills are essential for you to succeed in this role.
The Person
First class leadership skills with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the site's overall performance
Proven Experience within mining, including a clear understanding of current legislation and all aspects of Quality, Health and Safety Procedures
Demonstrated experience in establishing & maintaining relationships with clients, management & staff
Proven experience managing a large team. (50+)
Financial acumen in the areas of budgeting, cost control and monthly reporting
Self-motivation ,resilience and the ability to think and act independently
Essential Qualifications
Management Certification
Manual Drivers License
National Police Clearance
Current Security Officers and Crowd Control Licenses ( preferable)
Certificate III Security Operations, a Certificate IV in OHS or Certificate IV TAA ( desirable)
Current RSA and 4x4 accreditation certificates ( desirable )
