We are currently seeking a Security Manager to join DHL eCommerce in Thailand!
The Security Manager will ensure security excellence in DHL eCommerce. He/She will initiate, coordinate and implement investigations for losses and other security incidents relating to internal assets, personnel and goods carried by DHL. The incumbent will develop, implement and monitor safety policies and procedures to safeguard all stakeholders against loss, damage and incident.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety Process Management
Conduct security audits to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures at country sites
Coordinate activities and ensure compliance with internal security policy and procedures manual
Prepare and analyse reports of security incidents in database
Provide regular reporting on shipments and other security incidents such as dangerous goods
Maintain a current threat and risk analysis for external security analysis
Stakeholder Management
Implement security training programmes for internal stakeholders
Develop extensive contacts with security personnel in a variety of industries to ensure strong links are maintained between DHL and local law enforcement regulatory bodies
Advise management on any security related changes and provide recommended countermeasures
Source for appropriate security vendors and consultants to purchase security equipment and conduct investigations
Desired Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in security management in logistics, supply chain or related fields preferred
Excellent communication skills (English, Thai), written and spoken
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent presentation skills
Transport Asset Protection Association (TAPA) and Freight Security Requirement (FSR) certified
Good problem solving, crisis management and interpersonal skills
Excellent investigative skills and dangerous good awareness with investigation courses completed
Able to travel to other parts of Thailand and perform irregular working hours if needed
Minimum Educational Qualification
Degree or Masters in relevant discipline
