Security Operations Manager , Australia

In this role you will manage all administration and operational services for our Venue and Event Clientele. Applicants should have excellent administration skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi task across a range of projects simultaneously.

The role will work across seven days following a rotating schedule and be responsible for after hour phone calls. You would work within a team who work hard to service client needs. As such, good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude would be required. You will need to have the ability to work hard and at times work autonomoulsly.

The main function of this role is; but not limited to;
  • Implement, manage and monitor all contracted Venue and Event services (staff and advisory services)
  • Develop operational efficiencies and improve performance
  • Build a WHS culture to ensure a safe workplace and minimise claims
  • Monitor compliance to all legislative obligations (safety, industry, environment)
  • Deliver and drive excellence in customer service
  • Develop, mentor and lead the operational teams
  • Project manage establishment of new venue and event contracts as they arise
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships (equipment, uniforms)
Ideally you will have:
  • Minimum five years experience in a similar role
  • A current NSW Security Licence Class 1AC minimal
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Certificate IV in Security Risk Management (Desirable, not essential but must be
  • prepared to obtain the qualification)
  • Extensive experience in leadership of and working with operational field staff
  • Excellent people, communication and customer service skills.
