What are my responsibilities?
In order to support business objectives within Saudi Arabia, Siemens will appoint a Deputy Security Manager, whose roles & responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
  • Assist the security manager in daily Security Crisis management for all project staff and business travelers.
  • Review project site security on a regular basis country wide.
  • Assist with the planning for all security activities, ensuring robust risk mitigation measures are aligned with the threat picture inclusive of known or perceived sub-regional risks with the potential to impact on business objectives.
  • Assist with the management of security business partners and quality assured service levels including security services provided by sub-contractors as appropriate.
  • Assist in managing the quality assurance and quality control of all security activities by conducting regular audits and reviews in relation to all areas of security operations.
  • Assume responsibility for all travel coordination requirements and subsequent travel approvals as directed by corporate policy.
  • Be experienced in security audits, have extensive knowledge of security practices and the ability to implement and manage security initiatives in multi-threat and multi-site environments.
  • Deputize for the Security Manager in his absence, acting as the focal point for all internal and external staff.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • A proven track record in a similar security role or have the requisite skill set to enable him to adapt into such a post.
  • Recent KSA security experience is a critical requirement along with a credible-checkable military or law enforcement background.
  • Minimum high school with good English reading and writing capabilities.
