Basic qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

Responsibilities for investigation activity to include but not limited to:
•Ensuring all investigations triaged through the Corporate Investigations Team (CIT), the relevant Compliance Officer (CO) and where appropriate the relevant GSK Legal attorney.
•Development and continuous improvement of the detailed strategy and methodology for investigations.

•Ensuring the investigations strategy and methodology aligns to existing investigations policies and procedures.
•Assisting with the development of trend analyses and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for investigations for escalation to the CIT, Investigations Governance Board and ABAC Oversight Committee. Trends and KPIs will be agreed with the stakeholders within these governance bodies.
•Working with other functions within the Centre of Excellence for Investigations, including Legal, to respond to requests for information from enforcement authorities such as the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), DOJ (Department of Justice), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Office, and Serious Fraud Office (SFO).
•Responding to audit identified red flags which require additional review and analysis beyond the scope of the audit work.


Responsibilities for corporate security activity to include but not limited to:
•Provide accurate and timely consultation and advice to senior management in the Southern Cone regarding site security operations matters
•Liaise with G4S to oversee the quality of the service delivery per the terms of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Local Enabling Agreement (LEA).
•Maintain liaison and working relationships with CSI personnel, professional security organizations as well as local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in order to facilitate investigative efforts and sharing of best practices and report security events/risks to management.
•Coordinate with local resources to ensure a high quality site security programme, including employee awareness training and site incident response & investigations
•Identify and authorize appropriate and cost-effective security countermeasures and safety.

•Effectively coordinate the delivery of the security service by the provider to ensure:
-Required level of staffing is available to provide appropriate site coverage
-Access to the site is controlled and all personnel are processed appropriately
-Appropriate control, serviceability, and utilization of site security equipment
-Appropriate response to emergency situations
-Patrol tours are completed in accordance with site procedures
-Security personnel present a professional appearance at all times

•Provide Security & Investigations advice and support for Southern Cone GSK sites and personnel to provide a safe and secure working environment for all staff and the protection of GSK assets and interests.
•Assist the Latam CSI Security Advisor in the development and implementation of Global Security & Investigation objectives and responsibilities ethically and effectively the Southern Cone
•Support the Latam CSI Security Advisor on investigations when required, working under guidance/direction and global standards.
•Assist the Latam CSI Advisor with the GSK product security and anti-counterfeiting programme for South America, working under guidance/direction and global standards established by the Director Security EMEAA who has a global coordinating and Excellence Lead role for anti-counterfeiting investigations.
•Takes a leading role in providing security awareness training for employees (Security Orientation, Security Alerts, Bulletin Board Notices and Department Presentations) and other security education material as appropriate.
•Work with members of GSI from other regions to coordinate security policy, practice and procedure delivering a standardised, high quality product around the world.
•Provide temporary cover for the Latina based Security Adviser as and when required.
•Provide security advice to GSK personnel at all levels of the company, including Board members and Executive Officers.
•Works with the Business Recovery and Business Continuity personnel on the implementation of the Business Recovery Process at all GSK Southern Cone sites.
•Establish and maintain liaison with international and national intelligence, police, security and other law enforcement agencies at the appropriate levels.
•Undertake the security surveys/audit programme for GSK sites within the Southern Cone.
•Build effective working relationships with GSK personnel at all levels.
•Acts as a contact person for dealing with and resolving major or regional security issues.
•Supply Chain security and the need to investigate cargo robberies and thefts.
•Conducts Crisis management training.
•Excellent written & communication skills.
•Stays abreast of trends and new technologies in the Security field. **Certified Protection Professional (CPP) an advantage

Details:

This role will have primary responsibility in all aspects of investigation activity to include Anti Bribery Anti Corruption (ABAC) investigations as well as secondary responsibility for corporate security management

Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with all relevant GSK policies, including but not limited to GSK SOP-522 for the conduct of internal investigations, investigations best practice guidance and the fraud prevention and response procedure.
•Under the direction of their Line Manager, develop and maintain detailed investigations strategy and methodology, including protocols on when to involve internal and external counsel.
•Work closely with Compliance Officers and Legal to ensure investigations methodology is aligned to Compliance and legal ways of working.
•Work closely with internal and external counsel when conducting legally privileged investigations.
•Develop and track KPIs for investigations, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
•Assist with the development of trend analyses to submit on a monthly basis to the ABAC Oversight Committee and Investigations Governance Board.
•Drive innovation in investigations systems and methodologies.
•Drive continuous improvement in investigations.
•Demonstrate adherence to investigations methodology.
•Develop systems and processes to efficiently and effectively share and escalate learning from investigations.
•Ensure timely response to issues requiring investigation.
•Manage external forensic, accounting, legal professionals, as necessary to support specific investigations.
•Assist with the development of analytical tools to assist with investigations.
•Feed trend analyses into the Audit & Assurance (A&A) annual risk assessments.
•Ensure appropriate retention of documentation relating to investigations.
•Assist with the benchmarking of investigations processes on an ongoing basis.
•Support budget management and tracking.
•Experience in performing investigations or audits under the direction of Legal counsel.
