Must be prepared to live and work in an austere environment. Must be willing to work seven days a week, 12 hours a day. Must have the ability to carry up to 60 lbs to include body armor and all required gear.
Approval for this position authorizes the candidate to fill the following positions if needed and at the discretion of the Project Manager: Deputy Detail Leader/Guard Supervisor, PSS/Shift Leader, PSS/Senior Guard Shift Supervisor, PSS/Senior Guard Supervisor, Protective Security Specialist (PSS).

Position Summary
The Detail Leader / Guard force Commander (DL/GFC) provides the leadership to the Local Guard Force
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure successful delivery of task order objectives through effective implementation of operational Local Guard Force (LGF) contract, schedule, and performance requirements
- Provide LGF leadership through the management of assigned supervisory personnel
- Responsible for ensuring that post scheduling, status reports and operational summaries are met in accordance with contractual requirements
- Set operational and support priorities across all functions of the LGF detail
- Work with leadership to coordinate with the applicable representatives overseeing LGF performance
- Provide individual performance reporting and evaluation for staff assigned to the LGF detail
- US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must have a valid US Driver’s License and US Tourist Passport
- Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
- Attend a protective security services training course and obtain weapons qualifications, as required
- Must be able to meet Federal Law Enforcement Physical Efficiency Battery standards while at training course
- Completed or served at least Seven (7) years’ experience in protective security assignments
- Two (2) of these years shall have been in a protective security supervisory position
- Experience can be gained in the employ of any federal, state, local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services
- Must have no felony or domestic violence conviction. Record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidate’s suitability rating
- Employment with Triple Canopy is contingent upon a favorable background check to include no serious financial problems in the past seven years
