Job Description
The period of performance shall be for 12 months with a one (1) year option period.
The work to be performed will be accomplished at the Philippine Artillery Training School in Manila, Philippines. All Live Fire Training will be conducted on Philippine Training and Live Fire Ranges at Angeles City, Philippines.

Qualifications:
Must be retired/ former military NCO or Warrant Officer (E6 or above to include Warrant Officers or civilian equivalent)
Must be MOS 13 series, with extensive experience working in combat arms units as an artillery crew member.
Shall have artillery experience at least up to battalion level.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to effectively carry out all contract requirements.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must meet the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity and shall be neatly groomed and dressed to present a professional appearance at all times.
Must be in physical condition suitable to withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Must be free from any unmanaged medical conditions.
Must meet the U.S. Army height and weight standards and present a military appearance.

Must be willing to receive all immunizations required for U.S. personnel deploying to host nation.
Must be willing to complete medical and dental screening prior to deployment.
Scope of work:
Provide training to Filipino soldiers in all aspects of the operations, maintenance, and employment of the M109A5 to include Gun Crews, Drivers, Fire Direction Center (FDC) Operators, Forward Observers (FO), Artillery Surveyors, Unit Maintenance Supervisors, Unit Maintainers, and Ammunition Handlers.
M109A5, 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer TAFT training shall provide the initial introduction of the operating parameters, maintenance requirements, and operational employment for the M109A5s being procured to modernize the 5th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The TAFT will train Filipino Officers, Soldiers, Maintenance Managers and Maintainers on the operation, maintenance, and employment of the M109A5s. Additionally the TAFT will train a Filipino cadre to be capable of conducting future M109A5 training independently (Train the Trainer).

This position is contingent upon contract award.
