Senior Security Manager - Hong Kong & South China (Ref No: JD/MDO/003/150522)
Responsibilities:
Oversee the security and safety facilities for all company-owned and subcontracted facilities, and advise the management team on all security relevant matters
Conduct risk assessment on lanes, services and products and provide recommendations to mitigate the potential risks associated
Provide security solutions to the customers and support to contract bids, RFQs
Conduct professional and independent investigations into security incidents to identify root causes and follow up preventative actions with related parties
Evaluate and analyze the security related threats and trends on a periodic basis and act proactively to potential issues
Set up and implement security policy, physical security system, and technology-based security systems to protect company’s assets including customers and staffs’ safety, goods and equipments, etc;
Provide on-site, transit, travel, and transport securities in Hong Kong and South China
Ensure the company’s security or thief contingency plans and procedures are maintained and appropriately applied; and in strict compliance with local laws and regulations;
Cultivate security culture and implement security awareness training to all employees and tailor-made subjects to selected subcontractors
Implement and maintain an effective vendor management system to ensure that the subcontractors/ partners (i.e. air carriers, truck vendors, guarding companies) deliver high quality of service
Execute and manage security/ compliance audits to ensure operational compliance with a risk-based approach
Coordinate and enforce an effective risk and business contingency management system including preparation, periodic review and test of BCP for all sites within Hong Kong and South China
Liaise with local and overseas law enforcement agents and government authority, when necessary
Requirements:
Diploma or above with professional qualifications in security management, police science, or related field;
3-5 years’ experience as a security manager in a MNC environment, preferably in transportation or supply chain security
Sound knowledge of security access control systems, alarm and monitoring systems, and closed-circuit television systems;
Knowledge of local and international aviation security programs (AEO, CTPAT, RAR) and industry standards (TAPA)
Knowledge in business continuity management preferred
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and China;
Ability to assess risks and perform independent security reviews and audits;
Ability to analyze situations and mitigate risks;
Customer-focused and results-oriented with strong influencing skills
Good communication skills (written and oral presentation in English, Mandarin and Cantonese)
A good team player
