Regional Security Manager /Support Services , Iraq

  Responsibilities:

  • The regional manager is the focal point for all Contractor functions under the SSS-I contract.
  •  Plans and directs ongoing strategy to mitigate risk and maintain continuity of operations of the program in accordance with the requirements specified in this contract and all task orders under the SSS-I contract.
  • Provides leadership, management, and direction to program management staff and to senior staff implementing program services CONUS and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) (e.g., training services, security services, logistics, etc.)
  • Accountable to OSC-I for schedule, budget, performance, and quality of all program elements.
  • Coordinates with CONUS and OCONUS Department personnel, developing professional relationships with OCONUS personnel to include, but not limited to:
    • Embassy personnel.
    • Private security personnel working for the Department or other government agencies.
    • U.S. and foreign diplomatic personnel.
    • Foreign security personnel.
  • Ensures that all necessary Contractor effort is planned, provided, and maintained to the standards required by the contract.
  • The RM must have the authority to commit company resources for all actions necessary to perform work under this program, including training.
  • Attends all regularly scheduled meetings with Client, as well as special and unscheduled meetings required by the COR or CO.
  • Be available to and communicate with Client on a reliable and prompt basis regarding any/all aspects of the contract.


Qualifications:
The RM shall meet the following qualifications:
  • US citizen
  • At a minimum, be a certified project management professional (PMP); possession of a program management professional (PgMP) certification is preferred.  Information on these certifications is available at www.pmi.org.

Must possess either:
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of applicable work experience
    • A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of applicable work experience
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • An Associate’s degree and fifteen (15) years of applicable work experience.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
Experience may be gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services. Requirements for all U.S. Personnel
  • Be at least 21 years of age at the time of hiring.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license issued from a state within the US.
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport granted by the Department of State.
  • In the case of military service, any separation must have been under honorable conditions, if applicable.
  • In the case of specific human intelligence threat Posts, the person must meet the minimum requirements as identified by the customer.
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification, as required by the customer.
  • Meet or exceed all applicable position/labor category requirements as detailed in the customer’s Statement of Work.
  • Note:  Armed guard/protective security experience earned prior to 18 years of age are not creditable toward meeting position/labor category experience requirements.
  • Prior to beginning training, submit to and receive a negative result on drug and steroid testing.
  • Successfully complete the training qualification and re-qualification proficiency requirements with the weapon(s) required by their respective position/labor category, as detailed in customer’s Statement of Work.  Any accommodations (e.g., glasses, hearing aids, prostheses, etc.) required to successfully complete training must be used in the performance of duties for the duration of employment on the contract
