Security Officer. Rotation in Russia

Job purpose:
Ensure the security of personnel placed under permanent or temporary responsibility of YAMGAZ Project by the implementation of South Tambey LNG Corporate Security standards
Protecting assets of the Project, including know how by implementing relevant measures and means of prevention and protection;
Management of the physical security on working sites and at the accommodation facilities.
Primary duties & responsibilities
Reporting lines and interactions:
Report operationally directly and permanently to Security Manager.

Profile

• Must have
• Previous experience as a Security Officer, or equivalent;
• Demonstrate several years of relevant security experience in the Protection of people, asset and information;
• A strong knowledge of political context in Russia Capacity to work in a multicultural context;
• Experience in the coordination of Security Personnel including external contractors;
• Proficient in Crisis Management
• English speaking.
• Good to have
• University Degree or equivalent;
• Good understanding of local and international relations;
• Qualification in negotiating skills / specialist Security skills;
• Good command of Russian
• Main accountabilities:
• Security of Personnel
• Implementing (and updating if relevant) the relevant process to meet and greet expatriates, personnel on mission, subcontractor personnel, and staff under the cover of South Tambey LNG as agreed in the Contract, when relevant at their arrival in country;
• Raising awareness of people (project members) on security issues.

Travel Security

• Follow up of missions and mobilization on the Project in coordination with South Tambey LNG Office in Moscow;
• Assessing the security aspects of main transportations means used to reach the site;
• Assessing the security aspects on routes used for personnel transfers (criminality, checkpoints….).
• Threat risk assessment and Country security analysis
• Assessing the security situation of areas where the project is located and releasing relevant information to Management and Project’s staff after functional and operations agreement;
• Dispatching the security information and messages released by South Tambey LNG Security to any staff under South Tambey LNG responsibility.
• Emergency Response and Crisis Management
• Managing the incidents / emergencies at tactical level;
• Monitoring POS document on regular basis in cooperation with relevant departments;
• Setting the relevant Emergency Response and Crisis Management structure by:
• Forecasting all necessary means to tackle an emergency;
• Being compliant with the notification, investigation and reporting procedure in case of incident;
• Training the security teams and relevant personnel;
• Organizing regular drills and exercises on Emergency Security issues.
• Physical Security
• Ensure relevant security systems are implemented at living and working areas;
• Performs audits on Security and ensure the correct follow up of the possible recommendations.
• Managing Responsibilities
• Managing and coordinating security providers and ensuring their compliance with STL Security Policy;
• Provide Security advice to Security Manager and, under the cover of his direct hierarchy, to all staff to promote a secure working environment;
• Liaise with stakeholders (in coordination with South Tambey LNG Security and as specified in the South Tambey LNG Security Charter);
• Selecting the security providers with respect towards the Ethic code, selecting the security equipment necessary to ensure the global security;
• Coordination with Client / Subcontractors / Partner security teams.

Conditions:

• 30/30 rotation in YAMAL region (Sabetta)
