Job Introduction:
G4S Specialist Training is a key implementation partner engaged in a 3 year integrated training transformation (ITT) programme for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior Special Emergency Force (SEF).
•The Initial phase of the programme required Subject matter expertise to gather data for an organizational training needs analysis of current capability and the future aspirations of the unit benchmarked against
International best practice and operational requirements.
•The Second phase saw an expansion of the training advisory team and the requirement for the design, development and delivery of a series of course training plans in support of the wider long term ITT project. The key tasks involve Operational capability enhancement and a train the trainer programme to develop future training self – sufficiency within the SEF.
•Phase 3 will require the development of a team of operationally experienced Instructors to train and mentor the future SEF Instructor cadre and further develop their operational capabilities and training self-sufficiency for a period of up to 2.5 years.

Role Responsibility:
Including but not limited to the following key tasks, as directed by and/or in consultation with the Client programme Manager or G4S Specialist Training Management Team:
To work closely with the programme Manager (PM) to ensure that timescales can be met throughout the project mobilization and delivery process
Support future training needs analysis and training programme design activities
Support the PM in the development and improvement of course content and material
Accountable for the personal tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the PM
Support the development and maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS)
Prepare and deliver lessons and practical training exercises
Support the train the trainer programme and provide coaching and mentoring
Provide reports and feedback as directed by the OM
Ensure the appropriate resources are in place to support allotted training delivery
Work to ensure the best interests of the business are always met
Liaison with end user representatives and act as technical and tactical advisor.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications and Experience:
Former SNCO from the British Army with Operational experience in conducting EOD or counter IED operations in the current theaters. Must be prepared to undertake additional roles and responsibility as they present or the scope of the project develops.
Essential Experience:
Ammunition Technician
Clearance Procedures
Explosive Ordinance Disposal Operator or High Threat IED Disposal Operator
Supervision of clearance operations
Theater specific IED awareness training
Capability development and enhancement
Mentoring and coaching
Working through interpreters
Delivery of EOD training courses
Ability to develop programmes of instruction, training material and deliver teaching practices in support of the POI
Proven Instructional Ability and role within a Military Training Organization
Mentoring and Coaching
Recent operational Military experience
Requires an international driving license.
Desirable:
Experience in overseas team training, mentoring or capability enhancement tasks
Colloquial or higher level or Arabic languages
Understanding of key techniques – Training needs Analysis, systems Approach to training and training evaluation processes
Ability to perform under pressure, adhere to strict timelines and milestones with regular interaction at Management level, coordinating a programme of set deliverables through an appropriately structured variety of means that include presentations, detailed written reports and plans.
Communicate effectively and coherently in written and verbal form and at command, operational and tactical levels of an organization
The ability to work unsupervised, in a fast paced team environment
Responsible, reliable and accountable, ethical and able to instil clear sense of purpose in others
Able to develop a culture of high standards, excellent quality and customer responsiveness

Minimum City & Guilds 7303 qualification (PTLLS) or similar qualification

Range management qualification (Military or Police)
Ability to administer emergency life support (FPOSi training may be provided)
