Job Summary
Pinkerton has an exciting opportunity for an individual, who will serve as a Regional Security
Advisor for a specific client. The Advisor will coordinate the Client’s physical security (security services, access control and CCTV systems, site surveys), investigations, risk/threat assessments, executive protection, the volunteer emergency response team (ERT), fire and life safety systems, and travel safety programs.
The Advisor may also oversee employees and contractors performing specific security and safety objectives and monitor vendor performance and expenses.

The Essential Functions Include:
Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
Manage and control the quality of the security programs and contracted vendors through regular site visits to ensure timely and adequate: site security plans, threat, vulnerability and risk assessments, and training awareness programs (Crisis Management/Business Continuity, Traveler Awareness, Personal Security Awareness).
Provide credible information and contextual analysis of localized and regional security situations and incidents, along with appropriate advice to the Regional Security Manager.
Liaison with government, consular and private sector agencies within the Client’s regional office locations.
Maintain an effective security network at regional office locations, with both internal and external partners.
Preserve the Client’s infrastructure at all regional office locations and make recommendations to support the strategic aims and objectives of those policies and programs.
Assist in the implementation of corporate safety and security standards, policies and practices
Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, life-safety systems, training, drills, ergonomics, investigations and risk assessment.
Partner with Emergency Services: fire, police, and others as they relate to daily operations.
All other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D; with prior experience in physical security, executive protection, fire and life safety programs, and investigative processes.
COMPETENCIES
Extensive experience designing and implementing security systems.
Persuasive oral and written communications.
Knowledge of risk and threat assessment processes.
Demonstrated self-starter, with evidenced energy, drive, and determination.
Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
