Personnel performing training instruction shall have a bachelor’s degree, meet or exceed the
education and experience requirements; and be a subject matter expert in the field of instruction for the program-of-instruction designated to teach.
Advanced Criminal Intelligence Analysis:
– Certified criminal intelligence analysts from an accredited institution OR have instructor certification for a professional criminal intelligence association or organization;
– 7 years of experience in criminal intelligence analysis;
– 3 years of experience in teaching criminal intelligence analysis to law enforcement
Criminal Enterprise Theory:
– 7 years of experience conducting complex, long-term, conspiratorial investigations;
– Completed an advanced complex investigations course
Evidence Collection / Crime Scene Management:
– 7 years of experience as a crime scene technician;
– Completed a crime scene processing & management course of instruction from an
accredited law enforcement training institution
Mid-Level Management Skills:
– 7 years of law enforcement line-supervision and/or mid-level management at a law enforcement agency;
– Completed a line-supervision and/or mid-level management course of instruction from an accredited institution
